We recently had the pleasure of visiting Tanaka Farms for their Hikari Festival of Lights and we had a wonderful time! It was a feast for the eyes and the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit.

At the entrance, there are tons of warm and yummy treats to choose from – hot cocoa, nachos, cookies and – our favorite – kettle corn! It’s even in fun holiday colors of red and green. And it is delicious!
There were lights as far as the eye could see in a variety of display in every color of the rainbow. It was truly beautiful!
My littlest one really got a kick out of the scarecrows that had been decorated in fun and various ways. The biggest hit in our car was this minion one for sure.
Our kids – and, okay, me and the hubby too – are real suckers for holiday lights, and Tanaka absolutely did not disappoint. It was so bright and cheerful. We loved it!
And at the end is a very special guest – Santa Claus himself! He will chat from a socially-safe distance and take a photo with everyone in the car. This was such a sweet surprise for my little ones and the perfect way to end the ride. *Note* Santa is only there on weekends.
The marketplace is also incredible! It is full of gorgeous decorations and adorable knick-knacks and, of course, Christmas trees. We were lucky enough to meet up with our fellow OC Mommy Blogger Tribe families. Though it may be hard to tell, there are happy smiles behind each of those masks. We all had a fabulous time.
